 004  i do lots of things outside of roleplay, and while it is a great passion of mine: know that it is not my life. i may be a cryptid inside a computer screen to most, but i am also a person with obligations outside of the internet. i also enjoy doing other things in ffxiv as a whole, such as gposing and housing. if rp is not on my brain, then it is simply not on my brain. please respect that. do not guilt trip me into any roleplay scenarios, that is an instant red flag that will make me distance myself from you. 005  roleplay involves lots of collaboration, so please speak to me if you want to plan things in specifics; such as something that is like conflict and hostility. it is important to let me know ahead of time so i can prepare and give my consent. ic =/= ooc, and should characters disagree i will ask if the player is okay. this also applies to any darker theming that can be potentially triggering for other parties. i am okay with darker themes, but even i have clear boundaries that will make me anxious if they are treaded upon lightly.

BIOGRAPHY

A helezen woman born from a politically-questionable marriage, Brooklynn had the best of both Ishgardian and Garlean education. She rose through the ranks of the empire as a medical officer at a young age due to her wit and knowledge of bio-technology and weaponry. It was then that she met her mentor and boss, Ivolius lux Mercator. Under his tutelage, he found solace in a subordinate with a keen eye on technology and medical practice. Despite Garlemald's tendencies to look down on people like Brooklynn, Ivolius did not. Over time, the two developed a bond and still have each other's backs through thick and thin. She was bright-eyed, quick witted, and still naive despite all that knowledge in that head of hers. Even through the wartorn times, Brooklynn's optimism never swayed.Though, during the events of the final days she was sent to get medical supplies for her boss, only to return under Anima's thrall. Brooklynn was subsequently held down, and emergency surgery had to be done on her by Ivolius himself in a cruel twist of fate. That surgery was a botch, and things looked bleak until she was able to be porxied. Brooklynn however.. is not entirely safe. Youthful hazel eyes became golden in hue, and from there the woman would do everything to keep herself alive and to help relieve her boss of his guilt. He researched everything he could into a flora known as the Attis Flower, but that research has now been lost to the elements. It is a race against the clock to cure herself; by her boss who wants the best for her.. and her self experimentation. To be cured, or to lose humanity.She was scouted by a certain-tempura loving miqo'te known as R'eya Valke to craft weapons, and utilizing Allagan and Garlean technology crafted artillery with specialized bullets that do not kill, but rather utilize force to trample enemies. After a meeting with the head of the Kadjaya's Spirit, Ciren En-Faea, she made some adjustments to a device given to the Raen long ago.. with some new information. She dubs this extension the ORACLE (Omnipotent Repository of Aetherical Composition and Life Energy). Test running it, it has become a repository for all information in regards to her own medical needs and others.Presently, she acts as one of the 'branches' for the Kadjaya's Spirit, one who is the most knowledgable in anything and everything technology: be it magitek or Allagan. With the ORACLE, and her knowledge of bio-technology, she has been slowly helping others to figure out a way to help herself. Luckily, with generous benefactors like the Kadjaya's Spirit behind her, she is slowly building her knowledge. Though even branches at some point can wither and decay.
